Welcome to my own personal NaBloPoMo

For some reason I'm bursting with things to tell you lately. I have probably a dozen draft posts queued up, a new page I'm working on, an exciting campaign planned and, to top it all off, I'm approaching my one-year blog-o-versary.

So, I've decided to do my own personal NaBloPoMo.

Huh?

NaBloPoMo stands for National Blog Post Month and it was last November. The idea is that you promise to write at least one post a day for a month.

For me, writing more than one post a week is an acheivement, but considering that February is a short month and I have several posts already written, I think I can make this happen.

I've heard many times that the single biggest driver of traffic is simply blogging more often, but I have a hard time just throwing something out there for the heck of it or flooding my readers with random thoughts. I like to take my time to craft entries and put something meaningful out in the world.

But for reasons that I'll talk about tomorrow, I seem to have a lot more time on my hands lately, so I'm hoping I can maintain my standards while letting you know about all the interesting things going on in my life lately.

Or... maybe it's just that I'm procrastinating in my search for a "real" job.

(Potential employers, feel free to check out my resume!)

See? There. I'm still working on it.

And, in conclusion, a photo of my absurdly adorable family:
