Klix: Easy Way to Turn Pages in Books for Special Needs Kids

My son has a hard time with fine motor control, but LOVES books. So, we got some of these ACCO KLIX Classic Metal Paper Fasteners. They are stronger and stay better than regular paper clips and also work on board books. I just so happened to have this board book laying around the house.








I like how they separate the pages for him without having a big thing sticking out that might catch on something.

    Thank you! I have been looking for a solution to this problem. These look awesome! If you are interested there is this awesome device called Spark Up. You can record up to 50 books on it and then clip the device to the top of any book you have recorded. Your child can then look through the book themselves and the device reads it back in your voice. I use it with Mason but he has trouble turning the pages himself. This looks like to prefect solution - I tried paper clips and they did not work well. Thanks again!

    I would be concerned about a possible chocking hazard if the clips ever came off. Here's another idea

    Using small self adhesive clear rubber bumps or pads on the page corners, a small space is created enabling baby to turn the pages!
